Welcome to Saddle Clubs and Horse Camping for the Tri-State Rodeo. The Tri-State Rodeo started as an overnight rail stop by Gene Autry on his way across the country with his rodeo company and has continued for 75 years. We hope you come and experience the excitement of the Tri-State Rodeo!
Here are a few things you need to know prior to camping at the Tri-State Rodeo. We require all our campers to register online with us prior to camping. You can register through the form below.
If your club’s name has changed, please list your old name and then your new name on the registration form. Please also ensure that the phone number on the registration is valid for the person you want to contact in case of any issues. If you had a temporary spot last year or this is your first year with us, please get in touch with Chad Hocker to help us find you a spot.
The old landfill across the road is where we currently have open spots. We only offer primitive camping. Generators are welcome, and porta pots are available. Our fees are a flat $40 per camping unit for our event. Once your registration is completed, you will receive an email packet (these packets will go out in early summer). Additional emails may follow to give the most up-to-date information, and any news campers may need to know before coming to camp.
Please read the information and attachments in all the emails carefully and thoroughly so you know all the important dates, rules, and guidelines. Questions? Please get in touch with Chad Hocker at 309.252.2970.

If you are new to camping at Rodeo, please contact Chad Hocker. You cannot setup camp without contacting him. If you were new last year and had a temporary spot contact us. The Landfill field is the only open area available. All marked off areas, that have pre-registered, must have identification (on a sign) with Name and Phone number, to be able to contact you if there is a problem. If your club name has changed from last year, please list old name then new name.
